7The oldest finisher was seventy-three-year-old George Whitfield, completing his fortieth marathon in style.
8Around two thousand volunteers handed out more than fifteen thousand bottles of water along the route.
9Organisers raised over one hundred and twenty thousand pounds for local children's hospitals.
10Next year's race will take place on the fourteenth of April, and registration opens in November.
