2My name is Isabella Moretti, and it is my pleasure to be your host for the opening ceremony today.
3First of all, allow me to point out that the festival has moved from the old market square to the harbourside promenade.
4The gates open at ten each morning, rather than eleven as printed in some of the older brochures.
5Day tickets cost eighteen pounds for adults, and nine pounds, not five, for children under twelve.
6This year we are delighted to welcome over sixty exhibitors, including twelve international street food vendors.
7The demonstration kitchen, where celebrity chefs will cook throughout the weekend, is located in the white marquee.
8Seating for the demonstrations is limited, so we strongly recommend reserving your places at the information desk.
9Visitors wishing to attend the cheese tasting workshop should note that it now starts at two, not three, on Saturday.
10One final announcement before we begin: the fireworks display planned for Saturday evening has regrettably been postponed until Sunday.
